About Me
Hi! I’m Kerri. Thanks for being here.
Background
In 2018, I received a B.S. in Human Development and Family Science from the University of Georgia. In 2023, I obtained my M.S. in Counseling with a specialization in Rehabilitation Counseling from Thomas University. My internship experience included private practice and school-based therapy.
Throughout my experience, my passion for working with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders has grown. I have witnessed clients develop more compassionate self-awareness, utilize practical, evidence-based skills to address their concerns, and feel genuinely empowered by their therapeutic investment. Beyond individual psychotherapy, I’ve gained experience developing and providing a tailored psychoeducation/skills group for adults with ADHD.
In addition to being a Nationally Certified Counselor and an Associate Professional Counselor, I am also a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. My education and trajectory with rehabilitation counseling provides a unique sensitivity for how disability (physical, emotional, developmental, mental) can impact an individual’s life.
I am experienced in connecting to the community resource network and coordinating care to best support each client’s needs. It is my hope to create a safe and inclusive space for each client; centering their beliefs, values, and contextual experience in the therapeutic work.
